Ribbons offered and won in all divisions or classes will be scored as follows for the six placings:​
1st = 7, 2nd = 5, 3rd = 4, 4th = 3, 5th = 2, and 6th = 1
The SNEHA year end awards shall be presented at the annual banquet to member exhibitors accumulating the highest number of points throughout the year.

Points for all classes will accumulate on the exhibitor EXCEPT: The following will be credited to the horse: Junior & Adult Miniature Halter, Junior & Adult Miniature Hunter In Hand, Junior & Adult Miniature Trail In Hand, Model Horse, Stock Type Halter, English Type Halter, Junior & Adult Trail In Hand, Green Horse Walk/Trot Pleasure, Green Horse Walk/Trot Discipline, & Green Horse Walk/Trot/Canter Pleasure. The following will be credited to the same horse/rider combination: T.I.P. Open Thoroughbred In Hand, T.I.P. Thoroughbred English Pleasure Walk/Trot, T.I.P. Thoroughbred English Pleasure Walk/Trot/Canter, & T.I.P. Thoroughbred English Pleasure Hack Walk/Trot/Canter. Points for SNEHA Team Pleasure Walk/Trot & SNEHA Team Pleasure Walk/Trot/Canter will be credited to the same horse/rider/rider combination.

In order to qualify for year-end awards in any class, an entry must participate in a minimum of three (3) S.N.E.H.A. shows in that class. In order to qualify for year-end awards in any division, an entry must participate in a minimum of three (3) S.N.E.H.A. shows in each class of that division. (EXCEPTION: To qualify for year-end awards in the Miniature Divisions, the miniature must be shown in a minimum of 2 of the 3 classes making up that division.)

In each Championship Classic, the top 10 exhibitors who have earned the most points in the qualifying class by the final show of the season are invited to compete in the Championships.
